Search & Rescue (SAR) Training Australia offers the First Responders LandSAR Awareness course designed in conjunction the Dr. Jim Whitehead, APM. Consisting of 15 individual units of study, this course provides students with a focused view of land search and rescue operations within Australia, the theory and methodology behind how Land SAR is coordinated and provides the learner with the knowledge necessary to support State and Territory Police as the LandSAR Authority.
