First Responders Land SAR Operations Course

Search & Rescue (SAR) Training Australia offers the First Responders LandSAR Operations course. Consisting of 15 individual units of study that have been designed in conjunction with the renowned Dr. Jim Whitehead, APM and Dr. Paul Luckin, AM. This course provides students with in-depth studies in land search and rescue operations within Australia and within our broader region. This course is tailored specifically for Rescue Coordination Centre operators, Defence Force members, Police, Search and Rescue agencies and some private entities.
The theory, methodology and assignments covered in this course have been mapped against, and written in line with, POL58121 Diploma of Police Search and Rescue Coordination and will equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively work in Land SAR operations.
This course is highly recommended for Police and Military Officers engaged in land search and rescue coordination operations and for Police and Military Officers acting as LandSAR liaisons officers in broader emergency management and military constructs.
