The SAR Survivability Factors course is designed to equip participants with critical skills and knowledge necessary for ensuring survival in challenging and adverse conditions encountered during search and rescue operations. This course emphasizes the practical aspects of survival, including environmental adaptation, resource management, and resilience strategies. Participants will learn how to effectively manage their own and others’ survival in various scenarios, from wilderness settings to urban disasters.
